Lots of control lag, even at higher framerates. Can be pretty crashy on some driver versions. RT is clearly still a very WIP beta feature on RADV, and while some driver versions had very good stability, I had many crashes trying to record a solid block of gameplay today.
Previously, I could beat the entire shareware while taking my time, but now it seems to just crash the whole of X11 with ring_gfx_timeouts.
Not recommended.

Yamagi Quake II is available on the AUR, and plays all Quake engine games without RTX very nicely. Skip the RTX demo and go for the real deal with Yamagi Quake II. It's worth the extra effort.
