Jon takes a look at the new side project from the team at Might and Delight, a handcrafted shmup that puts you in the pilot seat of - The Blue Flamingo.

The game is created entirely using handmade miniatures, with a 32 foot long model landscape providing the backdrop for your little ship to fly across. Every asset and prop has has been painstakingly recreated in scale form, before being photographed and filmed. And the team even took the time to create all the effects, such as rocket flares & explosions, using firecrackers and other mini-pyrotechnics.

This is all put together into a beautifully simple shmup. And,as always with this type of game, your goal is to reach the highest score possible. You then get the choice to spend your points on ship upgrades or let them roll over to the next level and gain interest.
