Hanging from a precipice deep in the Himalayas, shooting at the wild animals hungry for flesh and worrying that the oxygen tank will run out before long, Far Cry 4 brings an unsurpassed level of immersion to the open world sandbox genre. But this is just one possible story in this cold harsh world torn by civil war.
How much more could there be to this game?

For the fourth installment in the franchise Ubisoft Montreal take us away from the tropics of Far Cry 3 and drop us at the foothills of the Himalayas, in the fictional region of Kyrat. You play as Ajay Ghale, a faithful son returning to scatter your mother's ashes but your plans are scuppered when you are taken captive by Pagan Min, Kyrat's tyranical dictator. You quickly find yourself plunged into the civil war between Min's royal army and the rebels of the Golden Path. You must take sides, fight for your survival and cut a bloody swath across this stunning location.

All the elements from the previous titles make an inevitable return from the radio towers to the vehicles to the endless supply of deadly animals and nameless goons for you to dispatch and loot their corpses. There's charimatic bad guy, everyone loves to hate; the open world, that you can spend hours just getting lost in; and enough weapons to make even Rambo weep.
