21When the sequel to John Woo's action packed movie Hard Boiled, became a game ... and when Midway wanted to fight Piracy on PC with bloated game sizes ... a game that also promoted its destruction physics ... and high PC requirements at the time aka a bad port ...
I got the PS3 at that time since on the same disc they added Hard Boiled ... and since no one bought it , (ouch) this version was cheap... at lest now the PC version is fixed (more like hardware was thrown at the problem) and Midways strange way of fighting piracy on PC by not compressing textures\movies\sounds just dumping it on your PC lap ... (a game that was 13gigs big at 2007 when most games where like 1 or 2gigs ... you have to remember net speeds at that time where 57kb\s max ... then 50mb\s like now or more (like 850mb\s on 5G) ... 13 gigs at 57kbs\s are like 40days of constant 24/7 download if you constant download it at MAX SPEED !! ... who needs a DRM when you kill pirates with sizes right ? ... guess they did not thought about Rip-squads that compressed games that after few days presented theirs solution) ... made this game in a way, future proof since you can image scale this game on new Hardware to achieve fantastic results
Its one of those OK games that kinda makes you sad , new games are not fun like this one ...
