Hey there everyone. In this tutorial I will be showing you how to create a photo realistic 3D license plate model using Maya 2016 and the Quixel suite. Though we go over the modeling and UVs, this is mainly a texturing tutorial. Because of so I have included all the project files for this exercise in the description here. As mentioned before all modeling and UVs are done in Maya. Once that is complete we move over to xNormals to bake some of our maps. Then we import our model into NDO to create our normal maps, and finally we do the texturing in DDO / 3DO. I hope you all could learn something new from this tutorial.
