Radeon R9 Fury X 1440p Benchmarks vs GTX 980 Ti/ R9 390X/ GTX 980
Even though they are apparently built for 4K gaming, we don't think that the performance on the new wave of graphics cards is really strong enough to sustain high enough frame-rates. That being the case, 1440p is an excellent alternative. Here we find that the Fury X is more competitive up against the GTX 980 Ti, though the Nvidia card still delivers better results overall, sometimes by quite a margin.
