One Page Rules- The Robot Legions!
249This was a major watershed moment for me- I really liked the designs One Page Rules has been putting together for their Patreon.
We already enjoyed using OPR's rules, and we really wanted to use the models they were making. Problem was, they were not easy to print!
I had a ton of issues when the models were all individual parts. They were very small and thin.
Thankfully OPR went and made combined forms of all the figures they had made. Now we were getting somewhere! It was still a battle for me at least, fiddling with the printer settings in an attempt to get things in one piece. I was successful on occasion, but often certain parts would not print, which at least was fixable with the individually supported parts.
Now, OPR has some suggested settings to print their models at... and what do you know, MAGIC. It works! Everything is finally coming off the print bed in one piece!
I really appreciate the dedication to putting out a quality product the OPR team has put forward, continually improving their offerings.
With their new Duchies of Da Vinci launching soon, and things looking good, I figured it's high time I give these figures a proper show of support!
While they would make great Necrons, I think that's a bit limiting for these. Some of the designs are really their own thing and don't have a 40k analog, which is fine by me. It makes the figures more distinct. There's a bit of battle droid in the shape and design of those heads as well. Considering how many you can jam on a print bed, I think these are going to be great for all sorts of massed combat and skirmish games needing piles of disposable droids. Stargrave perhaps?
