Rage Quitting is a Thing!? AVGN! Irritating Stick!
What games have you Rage Quit!?
I have never personally Rage Quit ANY video game. I beat Tyson, conquered Ninja Gaiden 1, Blaster Master, Ninja Gaiden Xbox, Dark Souls, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, Silver Surfer NES, list goes on. I welcome the masochistic challenge games have to offer, when available. Without true challenge, games become boring! Let me know any games that you have Rage Quit, and I may showcase them in a future video, with my own play on them. One suggestion, Holy Diver for NES, I showcased a while back:) And, like most games, that game can be exploited in such a way to make it considerable more able to be tacked head on! Fun Fun Fun game, made by Irem, well worth the time! I will showcase it again, most certainly! For now, let me know games that irritated the hell out of you, to the point of Rage Quitting, or even breaking your controller/s!
But, I have quit games because they disappointed me with their lack of fun factor. Hellblade is one such game that my wife and myself played for roughly an hour. It started out interesting and was quite immersive. But, seeing that it was interlinked by a set of silly and mundane "spot this" puzzles, we quickly quit and never wanted to load that game up again! Reviews are mixed on the game, too. Some enjoy its overall immersive nature. But, when they revolve around lame , simplistic puzzles, not like the awesome ones in Portal 2! No Thank You! I will not argue or debate the semantics with those who did enjoy Hellblade. It is just not the game I was looking for, in my case, nor my wife's! Taken from a different perspective, NOT as a game, as an experience, depending on the individual...it can easily be a masterpiece. Me, I wanna be able to tap a button and see things happen onscreen, IMMEDIATELY! No Delay:) That is the game for me, personally!
At the end of any given day, it is ultimately up to each individual person, what they like in a game. Me, I like crappy games, as well as good games. So, Jaws Unleashed, which was critically bashed, I enjoyed! Maneater, the spiritual follow-up, in essence, was not. And, I still enjoyed it. I like a good hook line and sink her, to draw me in. A good movie to me generally has an interesting concept, like a Time Loop, etc. Despite loving Quintin Tarantino movies, I won't necessarily go out of my way to watch a 2.5 hour long "talky" film, unless it has something to say! Clive Owen decimating people with a carrot, or Jason Statham falling a mile out of the sky, more my style:)
In any case, AVGN is an awesome game, both volumes 1 and 2. I will for sure be playing more of this in a follow up video! Mother Russia Bleeds is a fun OpenBOR game! Irritating Stick, I was curious if it could even remotely be played without analog. And, while it can, it is an absolute unnecessary challenge! Enjoy the Video!
