This Rainbow Six: Siege PC Performance Low vs Ultra graphics benchmarks are delivered on a native 2560x1440 screen resolution, performed using an Intel i7 5820K, Nvidia MSI GTX 980 ti Gaming 6G, 16 GB RAM PC.
We could see that Rainbow Six Siege offers a solid frame per second rate in general, but can certainly be adjusted via a broad selection of graphics options to help refine the experience. Our low vs ultra comparison took us through a number of different screen resolutions for the game.
The first R6 Siege graphics comparison was
@ 2560x1440 the frame rate achieved with the GTX 980 ti starts on Low settings at an average of 176 frames per second, down to an average of 44FPS when running the game at Ultra + TXAA 4x.

Lets take a look at the 4K resolution option for this setup.
@3620x2036 the frame rates achieved with the GTX 980 ti begin at 100FPS for Low settings down to 24.8FPS when you increase graphics to Ultra+TXAA 4x. However, it holds and looks great with the default Ultra graphics setting and this performs at 50.4 FPS.

We decided to get cocky and move the test up to 5120x2880 screen resolution on the default Ultra graphics setting. This returned 27.4FPS and wasnt really very playable at this level.

In terms of visuals vs performance, R6 Siege runs well and looks good, even on low. There are plenty of options including, Temporal Filtering, that will help save some valuable FPS, if you need it.
As always you can check our site for a review and to see how well you can run Rainbow 6 Siege and will also create some more benchmark videos on a range of other hardware over the coming days.
