Rallisport Challenge'42: Corsica Track Mesh Ingame
Here's the initial track mesh ported from RallySport Challenge. Currently have not started on porting staticobjects, thus it's just the bare track with lightmaps. (which will be redone once statics are on the track).
Despite it's size (On a 2048x2048 size map, this track goes from one side of the map to the other) it is relatively stable and lag free. I prevented possible lag, by splitting the collision mesh in to 28 parts. If it was just one big mesh, the game would lag and the lag would be even worse in singleplayer. Now it seems to work smoothly. I have even tried to get a car to fall through the track by ramming one with another, but thus far have failed to get this known BF42 bug to occur. Perhaps my damage system settings and wheel collision mesh design help prevent this from occurring. :D
