Things went wrong.
I did the ol "mismark SP and SW since they're next to each other and both start with S" mistake, so I ended up full clearing SP even after getting the boots, which wasted a ton of time. Left side swamp was even more painful than normal because I somehow ran out of bombs (!!) and had no red cane. I had one shot to do diver down and somehow fumbled on the bomb setup (??) so had to exit the dungeon and backtrack, then do it the vanilla way. Ugh. Should have just skipped left side entirely, at least.
Somehow found myself at GT with no arrows. Shoveled up some arrows, but the 7 crystals unlocking cutscene interrupted me from picking them up and....the arrows disappeared during the cutscene. Great. So then I shovel up some more arrows, and then of course once I get into GT, the first thing I see on the torch is more arrows, and the skeletons are dropping more arrows....sigh.
Fell to ganon due to some sloppy execution. Half blaming my controller and the other half just being a little rusty. Going to see if I can do something about the former at least. The 8bitdo controller just doesn't offer enough precision between cardinals + diagonals, as far as I can tell.
At least I didn't have any deaths? Anyways, better luck next week.
