Random DOS Game Show #369: Quake (1996)
The game that changed the FPS forever. Quake is universally acclaimed and adored for a reason. id Software's follow-up to Doom puts everything into 3D, and the DOS version of the game holds up surprisingly well! James has only played a little Quake a long time ago, and has a terrifying blast through its nightmarish opening levels. An easy recommendation that breezes past the time limit.
Addendum: since the recording date of this video, Quake has been remastered by Nightdive Studios! It's a free update for digital owners of the game and features a new expansion pack too. Go check that out.
