Roberta Williams was a pioneering figure in the point and click adventure game genre. Roberta is a compatibility tool by Dreamer for Steam that allows games to run automatically on the Linux version of ScummVM. This bypasses the Proton compatibility layer for games already running the Windows version and any DOSBox emulation for those that aren't! James takes it for a test drive and it passes with flying colours. Essential for any Linux Steam users who enjoy classic Sierra-style adventure games.

It is worth noting that both Fate of Atlantis and Beneath a Steel Sky can now use native versions of ScummVM via Steam. Despite this, they STILL run better using Roberta.
