I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
The zone Azshara, named after the queen of the elves 10 000 years ago, has been mostly taken by the Horde, as it lies just north of their capital Orgrimmar. The goblins from the Bilgewater Cartel, who joined the Horde after the events of Kezan and the Lost Isles, now makes their home here, including their greedy leader Gallywix. They've used their explosive science and devices to re-shape the zone so that it looks like the emblem of the Horde when viewed from the air. But this zone is filled with ancient elven ruins, and the Night Elves of the Alliance won't give up their history so easily! While the Alliance attacks from the west, the Naga comes from the sea in the east, also to reclaim the ruins. This zone is filled to the brim with threats, like Furbolgs, Demons and Dragons, who all has bones to pick with the Horde! There's also this group of really weird wizards...
