Random map generator for Heroes 2, yes he really does exist!
38I've heard little about the random map generator for Heroes 2, but I finally had the opportunity to try it out. It is ideal if you have the Heroes 2 Gold version from GOG installed.
The RMG is part of the map editor. When you run the GOG version of the game, you get the choice of whether you want to run the game or the editor. Use number 2 to select the editor. And then select New map / Random map.
Next, set up the game according to your needs. Then all you have to do is start the game and select the map you have created. Run Heroes 2 via shortcut, New Game / Standard Game / Expansion Map. Find the map in the list and play.
