Part 33: Stopping an Invasion
So, after regrouping with Clank (I guess they were trying to make it a dramatic event because Ratchet had no idea where Clank was but, from the player’s perspective, we already knew both were okay so that entire moment was just so he can open up to Clank without him being there which takes away from the dramatic side), we then head out to go stop Tachyon and his invasion. Since he now has the device, he has been able to summon a very large amount of the new enemy types (who I can only assume to be some version of his people but they don’t look quite the same so I can’t say for certain). In order to save the people, we have to clear a path from the space port that everyone is hiding out in but, after we complete that, we then find out that Qwark wants our help. I honestly don’t understand why we keep helping this dude out since he is either the bad guy in the end or messes up really badly that the villain almost wins. I feel like it would’ve been way easier for everyone if we just left him from time to time instead of saving him. Not sure if that is just my hatred for him talking or if that is a valid point.
