So, after chasing down Qwark, we find out that he has already been captured by Tachyon and has already handed the device to him which means things are going to get real. The second Tachyon gets the machine and turns it on, he opens up some kind of black hole/rift that knocks both Ratchet and Clank off the platform and, after falling down into a massive pit, we get separated (not exactly sure how since he both fell near the same place but it is what it is). This is also the part in the game that introduces us to some rather interesting new enemies; They now have to ability to phase in and out of the world and, while phased out, are invulnerable to damage which makes fighting them rather annoying. On top of that, they spawn a few smaller enemies after dying which took me a while to understand. We get to meet these enemies after the Clank mission which is fairly similar to most of the clank missions expect they added several poisonous gas geysers that are there just as obstacles.
