An argument I hear made by my fellow sceptics and atheists quite often is that it is always irrational to believe an unfalsifiable claim, or that unfalsifiable calims are the definition of irrationality, or go against rationality. Sometimes they even argue that it goes against the laws of logic. However, as far as I'm aware, that is not the case. In this video I look at the idea of falsification, rationality, and some of the claims about the rationality of believing an unfalsifiable claim. Including some of the fallacious responses that some atheists and sceptics give for the argument that it does not go against rationality to believe an unfalsifiable claim.
