These pesky rats have invaded your home and they are a bit hard to get rid of. Use your wits and take them all out in this puzzle and physics game known as Rats Away. The main objective that you must do here is to lure the rats to the traps. You are given a cheese to lure them. Move this cheese on the direction you want so that the rats will follow them. The level will be completed once all the rats are eliminated. There’s a friendly mouse too and you must not hurt them or else the level will fail.

Overview

Rats Away is a fun filled puzzle game about rats...cheese...and more rats, the objective in the game is simple and straightforward, all you need to do here is to lure the rats to their doom by taking control of a cheese, the game is not really that easy though as the rats features in the game are quite intelligent, and if you are not quick enough and strategic enough, your cheese will get nibbled and consumed in no time, the game has a total of 40 levels by the way, each one of them designed to test your rat trapping skills, it even has a timer to make it more challenging, no worries though as there are a lot of traps and hazards located in the levels, there are all sorts of traps and contraptions in the game like gaps, spinning wheels, spikes, spinning saw blades and many more, just make sure to lure the pesky rats towards them to eliminate them for good, it won't be easy but it sure is fun eliminating this critters, so come on and join the fun, muster your rat trapping skills and wreck havoc on those pesky rats, eliminate them for good here in Rats Away.

Graphics and Sound

Rats Away has simple but beautiful graphics, the character designs are very simple really as the rats look alike all throughout the game, but they look rather cute though with their small bodies and big bulging eyes, environments are very nice too, it is made of pipes of different patterns and peppered with all kinds of traps and obstacles, colors are great, the environments are quite dark really but the pipes and other object in the game are nicely highlighted with crisp and sharp colors making it really soft to look at, animations are smooth, every moving part of the game has very nice and smooth movements making it really fun to play, music and sounds are quite simple here, music is nice enough while the sound effects are not so bad either, special effects in the game are quite simple too, but it still managed to get the job done which is to make the game more fun to play, overall, the game graphics and presentation is quite simple but it still managed to look rather pretty and nicely done.

Gameplay

Rats Away has very simple objective, which is to lure the rats into the traps and eliminate them for good, and true enough, you'll do just that in every level of the game, as with most games, you will start out the first few levels with a single rat and simple traps, but soon enough multiple rats will appear together with more complex obstacles for you to overcome, you need to get the cheese close to the rats, close enough for them to smell it and follow it, don't get too close though as they'll nibble on the cheese if you get it too near, get the rats to their doom within the allotted time limit without losing the cheese to beat the level.

Features

Rats Away has simple but beautiful graphics, there are 40 levels of fun filled and challenging puzzles, it features simple to complex obstacles and a gameplay that is great for the whole family.

Conclusion

Rats Away is quite fun actually I enjoyed the challenges it offered, it started out easy but eventually got more complex towards the end, the game is too short though, I finished the 40 levels very quickly as they are quite short, so come on and check it out, this game is very nice and great for all players of all ages.
