In this video I play Ravel's beautiful violin solo, written as a dedication to his friend and composer Fauré. I worked on it for about four days from scratch, so obviously there's still more I could do to improve it. However, I am currently also continuing to work on Ravel's early violin sonata, a video of which I hope to post sometime in the future. I will hope to have perfected that a little more.

Disclaimer: As you maybe could guess from the last video, I am trying out different styles of recording, both with the new addition of a scrolling score in the corner and with how the camera views my violin at different angles, which is kind of cool visually. I do realize there are a couple mistakes either in the score in the corner or in the part I was reading (I'm assuming the latter was the culprit, as it was obviously written out in Finale or something), so sorry about that, Monsieur Ravel! Regardless, hope you enjoy.

Also, the picture I used at the beginning with me playing my violin by a lake was taken last year for my senior pictures for high school.
