RDR2 - Catching the Legendary Muskie in Red Dead Redemption 2. As part of the 'Fisher of Fish' stranger mission given by Jeremy Gill in Gill Landing, New Hanover, you have the opportunity to catch 13 'legendary' versions of each fish species. To catch these you need to use either a special lake, river or swamp lure (all available from the Lagras store).

The Muskie is found near Van Horn Trading Post. I went out to the rocks by the lighthouse. Its a big fish (36lbs) so it'll take a while to reel in. If you haven't already got it, this will also get you the achievement/trophy for catching a fish over 16lbs. The trickiest part was getting back to my horse once I had the fish in my hands. Once you have it, mail it in at the Van Horn Post Office.
