1RDR2 - Catching the Legendary Smallmouth Bass in Red Dead Redemption 2. As part of the 'Fisher of Fish' stranger mission given by Jeremy Gill in Gill Landing, New Hanover, you have the opportunity to catch 13 'legendary' versions of each fish species. To catch these you need to use either a special lake, river or swamp lure (all available from the Lagras store).
The Smallmouth Bass can be found at Lake Owanjila near Strawberry in West Elizabeth. I actually accidently used the special river lure instead of the lake one and caught it anyway. It's a large fish at 22lbs but not as difficult as some of the others.
