RDR2 - Catching the Legendary Longnose Gar in Red Dead Redemption 2. As part of the 'Fisher of Fish' stranger mission given by Jeremy Gill in Gill Landing, New Hanover, you have the opportunity to catch 13 'legendary' versions of each fish species. To catch these you need to use either a special lake, river or swamp lure (all available from the Lagras store).

The Longnose Gar can be found in the swamps of Bayou Nwa. Try fishing for it on the shore near Lakay with the special swamp lure. It was a difficult fish to land, taking several minutes to wear down
