176Yugioh meets chess and Magic the Gathering! All with anime weeb art! Players will pick characters with unique cards and abilities that can react off each other, all while dodging around your abilities on the grid arena board to avoid getting hit while trying to outplay your opponent! You'll each be drawing from a deck of cards while tapping certain cards and standees in order to activate their effects, which all start chain links/stacking that resolves backwards like any traditional TCG. Figuring out how to deal damage by managing your hand of cards and resources correctly while dodging your opponent's strategy means super crunchy combat mechanics and systems involving tons of tokens! But the fiddliness in the components can cause some lack of visual gameplay clarity... aaand then that's addressed with the kickstarter deluxe components with acrylic standees and neoprene playmats. There may also be balance issues, and we'll have to wait and see how that pans out.
