My live, (mostly) unedited reaction and slow-paced analysis of the first, extended gameplay trailer of Marvel's Midnight Suns. Marvel's Midnight Suns in brief:

It's a turn-based, tactical roleplaying game developer by Firaxis Games (the makers of XCOM) where you create a custom superhero character (The Hunter), and team up with 12 heroes, including Wolverine, Iron Man, Captains America and Marvel, Magik, Blade, etc.

Marvel's Midnight Suns combat in brief:

3 heroes per mission (The Hunter, player's character can be, but doesn't have to always be one of them)
The game has deckbuilding; You are dealt a random selection of abilities, a hand of cards.
You build & use a hero deck, draw & play cards on your turn to unleash skills & heroic abilities.
The heroes work & combo together.
Abilities upgrade w/ xp & you find/create new cards in The Abbey
