Boris is a powerful commando in the hands of a good infantry player. With the most health out of any Soviet infantry in the game, he is able to take on Allied infantry with his AKM Assault Rifle, while also dealing decent chip damage vs vehicles and aircraft. His Assault Rifle is also equipped with a grenade launcher to deal extra damage vs vehicles.
Like in the original game, he is able to call in a MIG airstrike to deal massive damage against structures. While he is vulnerable while calling in this airstrike, the main advantage is that he does not need to get inside a structure to pull it off.
As only 1 commando can be deployed at a time, Boris will be a high priority target for the Allied team. Snipers, Black Eagles, SEALs and Tanya will easily take care of Boris if he is caught alone.
