Red Dead Redemption 2 on GTX 1080 8GB 1440p │ Eye Candy settings
Everyone loves watching RDR2 on 4k gameplay. But does it look bad at 1440p with mixed settings? Here how it looks.
Settings: 18:41
This video was recorded with Nvidia Shadow Play. Even though in-game resolution was 1440p, it was rendered at 4k to reduce quality loss. I used mixed settings with Nvidia Game Filter for visual satisfaction.
The game never stays at constant 60fps. In some areas specially in woods and in some weather/nights it dips down to sub 50 fps. So I thought fuck it and keep it to playable performance with eye candy.
You can see performance at bottom right. Though shadow play didn't capture the performance at valentine, it was 55-60fps in that area.
