May 24th, Arthur continues his search, down by the river he finds a man carrying a letter to Bonnie McFarlane, he also locates some trinkets. Arthur eventually makes his way to Flatneck station to look for Swanson, he finds him drunk as a skunk and gambling money he cannot afford to play with, Arthur steps in for him and wins a couple of hands against Marvin and Luther.
Swanson has made off somewhere, Arthur finds him being attacked by a big dude, Arthur beats the man down but is seen, the witness starts running to report Arthur to the law, Arthur chases him down and threatens him, he then robs him for the aggravation, Arthur spots Swanson on the rail bridge and races to save him from being hit by a train. Arthur takes him back to camp to sober up.
Arthur spends the rest of his time at camp doing various things.
