Shortly after the events on the Braithwaite manor, Arthur and Hosea are trying to calm panicking John down and convince him that despite his current predicament, Jack is most likely not in any real danger from his captors due to his extremely young age. Their efforts are cancelled by the appearance of Pinkerton agents Milton and Ross who came to the camp to try and negotiate with the whole gang directly, offering them all the following; They'd give up Dutch in exchange for being allowed to relocate and rebuild their lives as law-abiding citizens. Their proposal is met with refusal from everyone with angry Milton promising to track the gang down and not hold back on the violence before leaving due to him and Ross being outnumbered. As the result of this, Dutch decides to relocate the gang once again with Arthur suggesting that they move to an old plantation house previously utilized by Lemoyne Raiders known as Shady Belle, ultimately resulting in him and John being sent there to check for any remaining Lemoyne Raiders while the rest of the gang packs up. After killing a few remaining gang members, one of whom commits suicide upon being confronted by Arthur and getting rid of their corpses, Arthur waits for the rest of the gang to show up, ultimately being taken by Dutch to Saint Denis so that they can start asking around for Angelo Bronte and get Jack back as soon as possible...
