Arthur starts investigating Saint Denis' social gathering spots for information on Angelo Bronte's whereabouts, eventually meeting up with Dutch in front of the city's premium saloon and being sent in to ask about Bronte since it is apparently the best location for gaining such information due to its high-class clientele. However, once inside, Arthur comes across the resistance from the bartender upon asking about Bronte. As he heads out, one of the patrons stops him and reveals that some street urchins may know something about Bronte with Arthur heading into nearby backstreets to find them. Upon locating them, a group of boys offers to take him to Bronte for a small monetary fee which Arthur begrudgingly pays. However, one of the boys steals his satchel and money soon afterwards and tries to escape, leading to the chase through the city streets which ends as the boy reaches the backstreet where the rest of his gang is located. Upon confronting them and their leader, Arthur discovers that Bronte maintains a network of spies amongst the orpahaned street urchins in Saint Denis, realizing that he may have far greater influence within the city than previously believed. After a brief confrontation, gang leader reveals the location of Bronte's home before having the boy return Arthur his things and money. Afterwards, Arthur meets up with Dutch in front of the saloon where the hunt for Bronte started and relays him the information, being told to meet up with him and John near the house as soon as possible...
