When the Dreamcast launched on 9/9/99 it had two games that helped define it, Soul Calibur and Sonic Adventure. Today we look at Sonic Adventure and it was so nice to see a Sonic on a new Sega platform. Those of us who owned a Saturn were always bummed out that we never got a new Sonic for the platform, and Sega wanted to make it up to fans in a really big way. Sonic Adventure hit the stop perfectly.

If you're in the market for a Dreamcast make sure you pick up Sonic Adventure for it because the two define one another. Even if you own Sonic Adventure for a more recent console, I still recommend you pick it up for its proper home, the Dreamcast.
