Remnant 2 | GTX 1060 | Benchmark using XeSS | Unreal Engine 5
The sequel to Remnant From the Ashes, Remnant 2, is another Unreal Engine 5 game released this year. The game is a big step up graphically from the first game, as low settings look better than the first on Ultra. LOD and polygon count is overall increased, but performance is substantially lower on the GTX 1060 due to using DX12 instead of DX11 and of course the extra quality demands from Unreal Engine 5.
Using Low Settings and XeSS on Performance mode the game is playable, but suffers from frequent framedrops and stuttering/hitching. XeSS looks really good though even on Performance mode at 1080p and is much better than FSR.
