Render Faster with THESE Render Settings in Cinema 4D! - Understanding Rendering Part 2
Are your render settings slowing down your renders without offering much extra quality? Let's find out. In this video I'm going to make it a priority to shave off AT LEAST one second from your renders WITHOUT having to buy new hardware.
There was a bit of confusion last time around so let me make it clear- these videos are specfically aimed towards saving render time on Standard render in Cinema 4D.
For basic render settings, the resolution is 1920 x 1080 at 72dpi. My frame rate is going to be at 24.
This video teaches you how to optimize Ambient Occlusion, Global Illumination, Depth of Field (ZBlur), Glow, Object Glow, Caustics, and Lens Effects. These are all very common effects that users of Cinema 4D will be familiar with but might not know how they can be optimized.
Next, I talk about the technical aspects of what makes up a 3D scene. I explain how higher polygon counts directly reflect render time as well as give tips on how to make faster lights, skies, and environments.
