That's the real challenge in this game: knowing the doors for the final "maze" leading to Sabu. Otherwise, it's a pretty straightforward and fast game, and if you're slick, you can do it in less than 10 minutes, finishing up here in about 9:18. If you're REALLY slick, it'll be more like 5 and change, possibly even less. Renegade has some pretty advanced fight mechanics for its time, but much like some other Taito/Technos style games such as Mat Mania (arcade), getting the chance to single out and repeatedly clothesline enemies sets them up for finishing off with mounted punches without all that much effort. Other good tactics include getting near ledges and throwing or kicking enemies off of them. This is, however, sometimes high risk, high reward! Lots of room for improvement in this run. I had a little trouble with the pair of Jacks, but other than that, it went down without a whole lot of fuss. This may be revisited in the future for the higher difficulties, as well.
Played on authentic NES hardware and recorded via ElGato and XSplit. No save states, tool assists, turbos, pausing, or any other cheats were used.
