Playing through two of my old games (Faceless and Lost Treasure) from around 2019. I worked on both of these projects for months, and learned a lot about Unreal, game design, and myself during the process. It was gruelling, and I remember being severely anxious at one point when my Faceless engine crashed and wouldn't reopen - I remember thinking that I had lost all my work. I also remember tearing my hair out feeling so stressed and overwhelmed with how much work I would need to do to get both games to the vision I had for them. Neither game ended up where I thought it would, but I came away a new person from both development experiences and with a whole bag of new technical and psychological tools which I would then take on and apply to Lost Temple Treasure, and Eco Ronin (my next two titles).

Both of these games are spiritual predecessors to "Lost Temple Treasure" - which was a game that finally got completed, and uses a lot of the work and ideas done in these two prototypes.
