Repton 3 Victorian Level 7
1Merry Christmas to all my viewers! This is my method of completing the seventh level of Victorian, requested by Jonathan. A little care is needed with timing the release of the monster. After a couple of practice runs, I worked out that waiting for one second in the bottom-right corner before running left both ensures that the monster will be hatched and moving down towards you (so that he cannot get stuck at the top) and gives you time to dodge the spirits. After that, the rest of this solution is fairly straightforward; its rating of 7/15 makes this one of the easiest seventh levels.
This level is also notable as my best completion of it (slightly better than the time achieved in the video) takes the total time for my best completions of the 144 "classic" Repton 3 levels (i.e. the ones that existed in the original BBC versions) down to under five hours, a target I've been aiming at for a while.
The music for this video is "Scrooge" from The Muppet Christmas Carol, another well-known evocation of Victorian England.
