The fourth level of Repton 5, designed by Dave Jeffery, is divided into two halves. The upper half makes ingenious use of vacuum cleaners and spikes to create a puzzle where Repton has to work out the correct order to open the cages, but this half cannot be completed until the key is obtained. Note that when accessing the transporter, I take care to block it off so the remaining spirits in the upper half will not transport when I release them!

The lower half is a beautiful puzzle in which the aim is to create room to manoeuvre all the nuggets into receivers so as to create a path for the spirits to get all the way from one side to the other, without allowing any rocks to fall and block the bottom corridor, along which two more nuggets must be pushed. The fact that rocks can also be pushed into receivers comes in very useful. Note also the clever use of the Infinity shuffle as a puzzle feature in both halves of the level.

This is also the first level where I take advantage of the transporters' cyclic property by having Repton use the same one twice. This is the fastest solution, but not essential; the coin I left in the lower half can be obtained before leaving that half, by pushing the first nugget into its receiver, letting the rocks fall into the bottom corridor and pushing each into the second receiver.

The music for this video is Chopin's Nocturne in B flat minor.
