Testpilotmonkey's final level, and the last level of Repton 5, is titled "Jewelled Palace". On this level, every last point must be obtained, so the first two eggs must be prevented from falling in the acid pit. In the case of the upper egg, the only way to do this is with the horizontal pushable block, and once this is deduced, the correct sequence of opening the first cages falls into place.

Timing is essential when killing the first monster; since monsters in Repton 5 cannot be squashed by pushing (to prevent them being too easily killable as there are now many pushable objects, and to compensate for the extra way of killing them in the form of acid pits) the rock must be pushed before the monster reaches it. Then the spirits must be caged, keeping the other cages blocked so that the right ones are entered, clearing the way for the vacuum cleaner to be brought across, before getting the key. This involves blocking the corridor leading to the horizontal pushable block, so it is no longer available for releasing the next spirit, and the second vacuum cleaner must be diverted for this task. My use of spirit ferrying here is not gratuitous, though not necessary either; the alternative is a very long wait for the spirit to go all round the level.

The top-right area contains some cunning traps and puzzles, though things start to fall into place when you realise that this area must be visited twice. One orb can only be reached by taking a transporter onto a wall section, thus erasing it; in Repton Infinity generally, transporting onto an object does not kill you (as in Repton 3) but calls the "hits" section of its definition, so for example if you transport onto a diamond you will actually score five points.

In the bottom corridor, the three propeller blocks that I push to the right help to release the last spirit. After taking the diamonds behind its cage, all that remains is a little pushable block puzzle and a column of doors with rocks above them. These can be opened safely, though getting the timing right requires practice; Return must be pressed when Repton is between squares.

This concludes the official Repton 5 levels, so I'll take the opportunity to once again thank those who took part. I couldn't be more impressed at the quality of all eight levels, especially since I know how quickly they were produced!

The music for this video is Chopin's Nocturne in C sharp minor.
