RESIDENT EVIL 5 REMAKE HINTED AT IN RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE FINAL CUTSCENE
Capcom's Resident Evil 4 remake has been a massive success, selling over 3 million units worldwide in just a few days. Fans of the game have spotted a potential hint towards the next remake in the series, with the final cutscene of Resident Evil 4 Remake featuring connections to Resident Evil 5. These connections include the Underground Garden, a key location in Resident Evil 5 where the Progenitor Virus originated from, and the appearance of Excella Gione, a character who partnered with Wesker during the game. While Resident Evil 5 has aged well since its 2009 release, a remake may still be in the works due to Capcom's recent success. The company has also announced a VR version of the Resident Evil 4 remake and a free update for mercenaries mode, as well as rumors of the Separate Ways DLC from the original Resident Evil 4 Remake making its way into the remake. Overall, Capcom seems to have plenty of content planned for fans before the potential release of a Resident Evil 5 Remake.
