Capcom has debuted the Resident Evil Franchise on the xbox 360 with their new title in the franchise Resident Evil 5. You Play As Chris Redfield or Sheva. The Gameplay Is extremely smooth and polished although you cannot run and shoot it doesn't seem to affect the gameplay at all. However later in the game they try to force you to use a very poorly made cover system thats completely broken, though it isn't too much of a pain due to the fact you aren't required to use it. The story is well written but unfortunately it isn't visible through cutscenes, you must find areas within the game containing notes and writings. One problem people may have is that the main story line is from 4-5 hours long this can be a pro or con since the game lends it self to be replayed and awards you for doing so. Resident evil is one of the best Co OP experiences on the Xbox 360.However this extremely affects the single player due to the fact the CO OP Artificial Intelligence is useless on veteran and professional difficulties. The only real problem wit story mode is how outrageously priced weapons and upgrades are. Included in the package as well is mercenaries mode, where you must kill as many Majini as you can within a time limit. This mode is extremely fun and extends the life of the game and in my opinion could be a game of its own. It includes single and CO OP play and has a bunch of unlockable characters with their own weapon classes.
Overall this game is an Extremely well made CO OP game with hundreds of hours of gameplay and tons of unlockables and is one of the few games worth $60.
