Resident Evil Remake/Archives: Wii/Gamecube HD Jill Walkthrough - Control Room Key! Neptune! Giant Shark / Normal Mode Gameplay
We start off moving the bookcase to find the ladder hidden behind it that leads to the Aqua Ring, which is flooded and filled with dangerous sharks including Neptune. Sadly we hit a dead end and had to head to *Residence Room 001* to get the Control Room Key. When we get back to the Control Room we have to drain the water, but the sharks decide to try and kill Jill by smashing the windows, so we try and lower the window shutters. Then we go and kill *Neptune* to gain the Gallery Key.

The first installment in the Resident Evil series, the game introduces series mainstays Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, members of an elite task force known as S.T.A.R.S. At the start of the game, players select one of them as they investigate the disappearance of their fellow team members on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Soon the team finds themselves trapped in an old mansion that is infested with zombies. By solving various puzzles, finding items and exploring the mansion, they uncover clues to solve the mystery, battling the various monsters of the mansion along the way using various firearms. Depending on the player's actions, the game ends in different ways. Resident Evil establishes many conventions seen in earlier games of the series, such as the control scheme, the inventory system as well as the typewriter-based saving process.
Gameplay mechanics are largely the same although most of the puzzles have been changed and the player can equip a defensive weapon that can be used when seized by an enemy. These defensive weapons include a dagger which can be used by both playable characters, whilst they also each have their own defensive weapon exclusive to them. *Jill Valentine* uses a taser, while Chris Redfield is able to shove stun grenades into the zombies' mouths to detonate them with a pistol shot. These weapons can be set to either automatic or manual use by the player, saving them from taking damage, although they aren't unlimited, and they can only be used when grabbed by a monster. The zombies that are defeated but not destroyed (decapitated or burned) are mutating later in the game as the fast, dangerous and very aggressive Crimson Heads.
