In this lecture we discussed the functions of nose in Respiration. There are nose hair,cillia and mucus membrane which perform different functions. They are involved in air filtering,air warming, particulate matters trapping, defense mechanisms against microbes and pathogens etc. Nose and pharynx are part of upper respiratory tract of human respiratory system.
