In this lecture we discussed the structure of thoracic cavity which consists of three parts. Left and right pleural cavity and mediastinum.we also discussed the parietal pleura and visceral pleura along with serous membrane fluid and also the parts of parietal pleura which are coastal, cervical, diaphragmatic and mediastinal pleura.
The Lecture is a prequel to external structure of lungs and helps in understanding the external structure and anatomy of lungs
