6I was even trying to play slow and still got to shadowlands in like 10 hours x_x. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think Low XP realms in retail would be cool. :D Then again, I'm a nerd and don't play wow the same way that 90% of the player base does, so..
INB4 someone watches and thinks I'm trying to argue this topic.. Trust me, the way retail WoW operates does not bother me at all. That's not the point of this video. I'm just playing around, testing out the possibility of future WoW videos on my new channel.
I would love to see some kind of time-locked realm (similar to what EverQuest offers) or low experience realm though. For the casual nerds out there like me who prefer to play retail but at a slower pace. I know, that's what classic is for, and that's completely fine. :) I still think there is room for more custom realms in retail as well. Let me know your ideas.
