In this episode of Retro Flashback, I take a look at Sonic Spinball through Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. This is a weird hybrid of a traditional Sonic game mixed with pinball. Despite some technical and design flaws, is actually a lot of fun and something you could only do with a video pinball game. Apologies for the overly loud game play audio in this video. My Elgato Game Capture HD software updated and as always, their updates break more than they fix. I'll have it fixed for next time!
Sonic Spinball can be purchased digitally on the Wii Virtual console which can be accessed via the Wii Shop Channel. It is also available on Steam and iOS devices and of course, is part of the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection which can be purchased in physical form for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
