In this episode of Retro Flashback, I do one of the worst fake Russian accents of all-time (scientifically proven) but then I take a look at Rush'n Attack/Green Beret for arcades and the NES. This is a pretty decent side-scrolling action game that has a good difficulty ramp up and rewards taking your time but doesn't punish quickly pushing forward. There are a few notable differences between these versions and the arcade one is definitely the best way to play but the NES holds its own nicely as well.
Rush'n Attack can be purchased digitally on Xbox Live Arcade. A pseudo-sequel called Rush'n Attack: Ex-Patriot was also released for Xbox Live Arcade, though it has little resemblance to the original.
