Here I review the PC version and the SEGA Megadrive / Genesis version of the original Populous game from 1990.

It was one of the first if not the first real time god simulation. You challenge evil in hundreds of worlds and wield amazing power, by collecting Manna from your underlings.

Played on my 286 with VGA and Roland SC55 sound as well as on the SEGA console, Populous is an extremely entertaining little game, even thirty years on.
