Retro Gaming Capture Test 23 Part 8 | Sega Master System
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Back with the Master System games again. After having 2 of my previous Mega Drive consoles giving me issues I have picked up another so I am now able to do this test. I had a few issues getting the signal to work with the RAD2X cable for some reason, but after playing with the HDMI lead a few times I got it working, then it was good for everything. A nice clean image and good sound with no issues switching through all the games, also a convertor which is known for almost zero lag which is nice for retro games, a great solution for original hardware once the signal is established, hopefully that will not give me many more issues, then this will be my preferred method so far.
