Yea this boss is still as easy as ever, especially with the weapons I've managed to find. The cutlass is really good for ending this fight quickly, but in all honesty you could probably defeat this boss with any sword that can deal 40 damage or more, and you can probably do it even with just a set of hellstone armor (though you may need to use an ironskin potion or a potion of regeneration if you're not using mythril armor or better). Ranged and magic weapons could also be used, but they're probably nowhere near as effective unless you have one that can pierce multiple targets at once. Considering how easy it is to get a decent sword it's probably way easier to just use one instead for this fight. Having a bit of extra mobility may help with dodging his initial lunges, but in all honesty you probably don't need anything beyond a cloud in a bottle and hermes boots to be able to effectively dodge him (you could also use any armor that boosts movement speed).

As with every hardmode boss fight, the philosopher's stone and cross necklace are very useful items to have to both reduce potion cooldown and reduce damage taken from being in contact with the boss for so long, but neither are really necessary if you go into this fight with the best available armor at this stage of the game (Mythril or higher is recommended).

In any case, there's still a few more bosses to go before we've done everything here, including two new ones that were added in the 1.2 patch.
