11Let's explore the hype and anticipation for Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith! The excitement leading up to the film was huge. And there were lots of tie-ins for this movie like videogames and toys and that helped create the fan hype!!
When Episode 3 was on its way the media attention was huge. ROTS was being covered by both print and television incessantly. And it was in every store across the world because of the merchandise and the movie tie-ins like the 3.75 inch action figures and the lightsabers and the Attacktix line from Hasbro, the fast food tie-ins at Burger King like the fast food toys, There were video games by Lucasarts like Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the LEGO Star Wars videogame, tie-in books, the score by John Williams, VHS tape, food tie-ins like the join the dark side campaign from M&Ms and a cereal campaign with Kellogs, volume of Gendi Clone Wars on Cartoon Network, and much more. there was no escaping this movie, and I will remember the summer of 2005 and Revenge of the Sith forever!
